If same as above , by 2020, 10 million people each year may die of cancer and 10.1 million annual cancer incidence is expected to 50% increasing-15.7 million people. Korea s annual cancer-developed men are approximately 99,000(Approximately man 5,800, woman about 4,100). Korea s total death toll is about 246,000 people. Among them, cancer is regarded as the most main cause. There are many factors of cancer - in the spread of the western diet, environmental pollution, drinking and smoking. Cancer has reached to social issues. In above chart, total cancer incidence is increasing steadily.
